Here you will find a selection of my puzzle boxes and creations. I hope you enjoy finding out about them. All my boxes are hand crafted and I use sustainable and locally sourced materials where possible. I’ll be adding items to these pages as and when I make them and I am regularly designing new pieces which I will add along the way.
I produce specific designs in batches of 20 or 30 and then send out details to clients on my contact list. Please send me a message through my contact form if you would like to be added to this list.
acorn box
The Acorn box is turned from Welsh Oak and is a simple but perfect presentation box for a ring or small gift
When opened the box becomes heart shaped and the gift is presented within a copper surround with a natural felt liner.
wedding ring boxes
Based on the pendant seen in the film the ‘Illusionist’ this box begins as a simple oval shape but when twisted takes the shape of a heart. Once the heart shape is revealed the lid will open with a twist to reveal the secret spaces within. I have made several versions from different woods including Welsh oak, Welsh bog oak (approximatly 500 year old timber with a deep brown/black lustre) red heartwood and tulipwood. I can carve or inlay the surface for bespoke designs to your requirements.
