Petal box
THIS IS AND EIGHT MOVE BOX BUT DON’T BE DECIEVED, IT TAKES A BIT OF INVESTIGATION TO SPOT THE HINTS. I HAVE HONESTLY NEVER SEEN ANYONE SOLVE THIS BOX WITHOUT ANY CLUES.
The Petal box has a great finishing move which always gets an Oooh. Ive made this one from Welsh oak, Red heartwood, and solid birch ply with some brass details which can be seen on the outside and some internal brass mechanism.
Dimensions: the pentagon is 110mm across and the box is 80mm deep the internal space is circular 75mm in diameter and 40mm deep
